Beginners BJJ
Whilst we currently offer only all levels classes that incorporate an ideal training balance for everybody, we will soon be offering a bespoke beginners program that is the perfect starting point for anybody interested in starting this dynamic martial art.
What the Beginner BJJ Program offers:
Basics of BJJ: Learn essential movements, positions, and submissions that form the foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Step-by-Step Instruction: Our curriculum is designed to introduce techniques progressively, ensuring you build a solid understanding.
Positional Sparring: Jiu Jitsu works as a hierarchal map of increasingly dominant positions. Sparring and task based games from these positions allows you to understand them properly and gives you a chance to apply the techniques and movements focused on in class.
Free Sparring: The essence of jiu jiu jitsu. This is when we combine all the different positions together into one free flowing round.
Community and Support: The program fosters a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Fellow students are encouraged to help each other improve, creating a sense of camaraderie that’s important in martial arts training.
Fitness and Conditioning: In addition to learning techniques, the beginner’s program also helps students improve their overall fitness, flexibility, and conditioning, all while having fun on the mats.
